On February 28, 2025, Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery marked a significant milestone with the official commissioning of the New Noiler Hatchery at our premises in Awe, Oyo State. This state-of-the-art facility, with a capacity of over 2.5 million Day-Old Chicks per month, reinforces our commitment to improving food security and making high-quality protein more accessible across Nigeria.
Noiler is a dual-purpose bird, bred for both meat and egg production, making it an excellent choice for smallholder farmers and households looking for a sustainable and reliable protein source. With this expansion, more Nigerians will have access to high-quality Noiler chickens, supporting better nutrition and economic growth.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Anand Burra, Managing Director, Amo Farm, highlighted the role of the new hatchery in increasing protein consumption, ensuring that more households can access affordable and nutritious Noiler chickens. He emphasized that this expansion is a crucial step toward meeting the growing demand for Noilers while maintaining the highest industry standards.
In his remarks, Dr. Ayoola Oduntan, Group Managing Director, charged the team with ensuring that every chick leaving the hatchery meets the highest quality standards that Amo Farm is known for. He further underscored the impact of this milestone on Nigeria’s poultry industry, stating that with this facility, there will be more Noiler chickens, which translates to higher-quality meat and eggs for consumers nationwide.
A key moment of the event was the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, performed by Dr. Ayoola Oduntan, marking the formal commencement of operations at the new hatchery. Guests were then taken on an exclusive tour of the facility, where they had the opportunity to see firsthand the advanced technology and systems designed to enhance efficiency, chick health, and overall production capacity.
The commissioning event was graced by several key stakeholders, including Dr. Sunil, General Manager, Amo Farm; Mr. Emmanuel Oloruntoba, Director of Supply Chain; Mr. Olusegun Akande, Head of Internal Audit; and Mr. Victor Alabi, HR Business Partner, Amo Farm, alongside other esteemed guests and company representatives who joined in celebrating this momentous occasion.

As we commence operations, we remain committed to innovation, quality, and excellence, ensuring that the Noiler continues to be a game-changer for smallholder farmers and consumers alike.
